We stopped for lunch in Huntsville, after driving past the statue of Sam Houston.

Saturday morning

It ended up being pretty chilly yesterday; today is the first day it's been warm enough to leave the door open, and we're leaving in 2 hours. Galveston forecast for next week calls for very nice weather.

The kids locked themselves out of their room. Daniel -- or, as he is known to French police, "Le Chat", the cat burglar -- easily gained access via the open balcony door.
